Star Wars TOR or Rift?
After downloading the Rift free trial I had to decide if I was going to continue and purchase it or try something else.
I almost purchased Rift because:
- Its a very well finished game
- graphically is very good looking
- works seamlessly and smoothly
- rifts opening up gives players a reason to work together early on
- unique class system
- cheap to purchase
But I decided not to purchase it.
With lack of story and an easy select role system there is little incentive to start new characters. As a result there are so few players in the lower level areas this takes the Multi out of MMO.
Rift plays great but just seems on the decline so I’d rather not start a new character there.
Star Wars TOR
Should I go for SWTOR instead? It’s certainly new and if you want story line this could be the one for you. It’s star wars – of course you know the background, and more importantly, will be engaged by it.
After reading the reviews, and realising it’s not a perfect game I decided to buy it.
It’s only a month old so still quite new and initial bugs should be ironed out by now. I’m also sure new content and expansions will appear to address most peoples concerns.
I can’t wait to begin.
